Abstract: Typically, domain experts are not familiar with formal models and, hence often rely on more intuitive representations, including semi-formal graphical models. Providing an alternative, primarily graphical representation of ontological concepts that is more related to the everyday business of domain experts is a success factor for including the human expert in developing the alignment mechanisms. This deliverable presents the Abstract Notation Language (ANL) as an answer to the challenges the Next Generation Modelling Framework (NGMF) is faced with the domain-specific graphical ontology representation and completes the deliverable trilogy of work package WP3.

Abstract:
This deliverable provides a catalogue of changes to the implementation of the Next Generation Modelling Framework - NGMF (as outlined and defined in the D4.3.2 at PM24) carried out based on (1) the demonstration and evaluation of the use cases concerning the improvements imposed by the end users and evaluators of the NGMF and (2) is accompanied by the improvements deemed necessary by the developers of the NGMF based on the continuous feedback from the consortium partners during the implementation utilizing waterfall model with major milestones in PM12 (D4.1.2) and PM24 (D4.3.2).
